Grandmistyhaven started in 1995 as a single villa on a sheltered bay, expanding only when we were certain growth would not dilute what drew people here. Three decades on, we maintain 180 rooms and suites, three kitchens and two gaming rooms, and we still decline more bookings than we accept.
For us, luxury is not marble and gilt. It is the second coffee that arrives unasked, the driver who recalls your name, the table kept open an hour past closing because the conversation was still going. We recruit for that instinct and we keep the people who possess it.
Most of our guests return, and that is the entire strategy. We would rather three quarters of a smaller circle come back each year than pursue a larger one that never does.
